How do you (personally) create this show script in CSC?
This weekend I had to step in last minute and script a show on site. I had shells delivered of every size: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inches.
The show needed to be 15 minutes. I usually plan for 13-13.5 minutes for the body, and 1.5-2 minutes for the finale.
I had (192) 3" shells and (108) 4" shells. And then smaller quantites of the remaining shells.
(This question is only about scripting the body. I was able to easily script the finale chains at the end of the show.)
My thought process was this:
- 13 minutes is 780 seconds.
- 192 shells fired at an even pace across 780 seconds means I need to fire them at ~4 second intervals.
- The 108 shells fired evenly across 780 seconds means I need them at ~7 second intervals.
…and so on for the quantity of shells and to spread them out evenly across 13 minutes.
Being as specific as you can (since this is a learning opportunity for me and others), in CSC, how would you create this script for all the variety of shells that need to be fired? Keep in mind that Channel:Cue inputs need to take place as well.
